- Partially-Dated Novodel with Alluring Toning RUSSIA. Silver Ruble Pattern Novodel, "180X" (ca. 1806). St. Petersburg Mint. Alexander I. PCGS SPECIMEN-61. KM-Pn70; Bit-H667 (R2). Plain edge. An interesting type lacking the final digit in the date, this novodel striking offers an elegant tone with some enchanting iridescence noted nearer the peripheries. As a testament to the aging and apparent frailty of the dies, numerous cracks are noted on the reverse, as well as one area in particular where a large cud is present upon both sides.
