详细说明: The 1969-D half dollar is among the lower mintage issues from the desirable 1964-1970 era in the Kennedy series, boasting a production figure of 129,881,800 coins which is just about half of what was struck the year prior at the Denver Mint. It is noteworthy for being the final silver Kennedy half dollar struck for circulation, as the following 1970-D issue was only available to collectors in Mint Sets. While examples are relatively common in grades up through MS-65, survivors are scarce in MS-66 and rare in MS-67. In fact, Rick Tomaska writes of the 1969-D in the 2023 edition of his Guide Book of Franklin & Kennedy Half Dollars:Among the rarest dates in the series in MS-67 grade. I have only handled three or four examples in MS-67!
