Exceptional quality and eye appeal! We love the look of this pristine 1884 dollar. These are RARE this nice! The surfaces are very high end quality on both sides, free of any serious marks or lines. The luster oozes from the fields and radiates boldly as you rotate the cartwheels in a light. The strike is as crisp and sharp as you could ever hope. While the obverse is untoned, the reverse shows a narrow band of rainbow color at the right periphery, suggesting it was pressed up against the bag. This is another stunning coin that is from the Vanderbilt Collection and one that will delight any advanced Morgan specialist. PCGS 76, NGC 33, CAC 26. There are 15 graded in 67+ and with just three in 68, there is the possibility that the same coin was resubmitted multiple times in hope of a higher grade. The most recent PCGS/CAC coin sold for $8,400 in March 2019 and the current PCGS Price Guide value is listed at $9,500. Keep in mind that the last 68 sold in February 2018 for $45,600, so this spectacular, SUPERB GEM represents great value in our opinion! We know the Morgan aficionados will be out in force bidding on this beauty. Cert. Number 36302595 PCGS # 7150
