详细说明: From the Hallett Collection. During the wartime crunch, the mint created two overdate varieties one in Philadelphia and one in Denver. Today, especially in Choice and Gem Mint State grades, these are KEY date issues, avidly sought by collectors. This Choice coin has a bold, satiny luster that has a vibrant frosty glow surrounding the sharply struck up devices. A single, tiny toning spot and hint of weakness on the E in ONE are noted for full disclosure. The eye appeal is very pleasing overall and a delight for the Mercury dime specialist. PCGS 9, NGC 5. The most recent example to sell in auction sold a dozen years ago, realizing $12,075 in a May 2006 auction. More recently a PCGS MS63 FB sold for $12,925 in October 2015 and a PCGS MS65 FB CAC sold for $49,350 in the 2014 ANA auction.
