GREAT BRITAIN. Noble, ND (1369-77). London Mint; mm: annulet/cross potent. Edward III. PCGS MS-63.
S-1516; Fr-98; N-1277. Weight: 7.70 gms. Obverse: Edward, holding sword and shield, standing facing in ship with bowsprit; stops: double saltire; Reverse: Voided short cross potent over cross fleuree; in each angle, crown over lion passant over trefoil; at center, Є within quadrilobe; all within polylobe, with trefoils in spandrels; stops: double saltire. Sporting a rather sharp strike and color that intensifies to orange nearer the devices, this resounding specimen presents great brilliance throughout and is just short of Choice, elite status.
