- A great "collector grade" example of this famous Standing Liberty quarter issue - the first and, with just 52,000 pieces produced, the lowest mintage. Warm dove and lighter pewter gray patina provides an attractive appearance for both sides. Wear is commensurate with the grade, but most major design elements are well outlined, and the digit 6 is clear enough to readily confirm the date as 1916 when it is considered along with the Type I design. Surfaces are a tad rough, especially on the obverse, but there are no sizeable or otherwise individually mentionable distractions.
